Officers
Officers are elected to a two year term, and generally move up the ladder from fifth vice-president through the presidency. Each VP has a specific duty and when they reach the presidency the newly elected 5th VP takes over the duties of their predecessor.
The assorted duties are:
- Education (the newsletter);
- Historian;
- Public Relations and locating platform artists;
- Publicity and collecting donated funds for Elks Camp Grassick (our official charity);
- Education (purchases plaques and assorted awards for competitions, special occasions and special people).
The Secretary-Treasurer is a very busy person. It is her job to take minutes at meetings, notify members of upcoming meetings, correspond with the state, or anyone else the officers deem necessary, manage the treasury, invest funds and write checks.
