84th Annual State Barber Convention - April 29 and 30, 2017
Grand Forks, ND
(Note: If you have a topic to be discussed at the association meeting, please call or email Denise Papenfuss Association President at 701-265-8367 or firstname.lastname@example.org, to get on the agenda. We are also requesting members to bring canned goods to the convention, so we can donate to the local food pantry. Thank you.)
The North Dakota Barbers Association consists of all barbers who hold a current license in the state. We want to inform all who are considering barbering for a career, or those barbers that are thinking of relocating to North Dakota.
We want you to know something about our organization, our Board of Barber Examiners, the Moler Barber College and how to become a student, an apprentice, and finally a registered North Dakota barber.
We want you to know a bit of our unique history, our official charity, and the opportunities available to barbers in this state, both in the cities and the rural areas.
The association concentrates on the business of the profession. Each barber has a vote when electing officers or nominating potential board members, and also has influence in major decisions as they come before the association. The slate of association officers meets three times a year, a general meeting at the annual convention in the spring, a fall meeting usually held in the central part of the state, and a winter meeting in the city where the convention will next be held. These meetings are open to all association members.
